Hand-crafted 6061-T6 Aluminum Snow Skis are the finest anywhere.
These
skis are drilled to be quickly installed onto 5/32" axles.The axles may be carefully reamed oversize to accommodate axles up to 1/4" inch diameter.
Designed for aircraft that weigh between 4-12# pounds. Although they have been used very effectively on heavier aircraft.
The standard ski dimensions are 13" inches long x 2.5" inches wide.
Due to the shorter, thus, stiffer leaf springs, and smaller surface area. Which could otherwise be influenced by extreme flight conditions. The standard sized skis have proven to be the more optimum choice for aerobatics and rougher conditions.

These snow skis can easily be installed and adjusted in seconds.
They incorporate a "Never Slip" design providing double the holding
power with dual 8-32 grade 8 steel set screws, at an optimum 60-degree angle of
separation. Thus, no "Flat spots" are required on the axles.
Extra axle height provides additional ground clearance
to improve deep snow performance, and reduce the chance of ice damage to
wings. Axle height is comparable to a 4 1/2 inch tire height, and are similar weight.
They feature automatic centering, with no additional lanyards or
bungee straps required.
These skis are designed with a minimal aerodynamic drag design.
A tail ski is not included, nor, recommended. As tail skis tend to tear of rudders. And, possibly even the entire empannage. Tail wheels provide very adequate steering. And, the rear fuselage provides good flotation on soft snow.
